About
One of the longest-running notes services for film and TV writers, the Script Pipeline Workshop has reviewed thousands of screenplays and pilots since 1999.
Readers are comprised of our core Script Pipeline executives, whose experience ranges from 5 to 20+ years and includes roles with agencies, production companies, studios, and networks, specifically in material review and story development. All screenplay and pilot submissions are considered for industry circulation to our manager, producer, and agency contacts, plus inclusion on Pipeline: Scout. As we do with our contest finalists, our team typically works with "Recommend" writers long-term on future projects.
The Script Pipeline Workshop has always been rooted in three goals: fundamentally help writers improve their craft, connect them with higher-level representation, and push more scripts closer to production.

FAQs
How do I submit?
Click "submit" at the top or bottom of this page and follow the on-screen prompts. You'll receive a confirmation email with further info after registering.
After registration, email your materials in PDF format to our coordinator.
Can I request a specific development exec?
Yes! If you had a particular reader last time, just let us know, and if they're available, we can match you up with them again.
What if my script is on the longer side?
First: we'd strongly recommend cutting it down. However, we understand some scripts run long because of the nature of the project. Contact us if your script is longer than 130 total pages (not including cover page), as there is an additional $2/page fee over 130.
Do you circulate scripts that receive a Recommend to industry? What is a "Recommend" anyway?
A "recommend" simply means it's a script we feel is very well-written and ready for circulation.
If one of our readers flags your work for Script Pipeline executives, you'll receive a final review from a Senior Exec, who will then determine if we have managers or production companies in our network who might align (depending on your representation status).
The Senior Exec will also meet with the writer and offer additional feedback on the script, and in most cases, review pitches of other scripts the writer is developing to determine if we can help in the long-term.
There is, of course, no additional fee for this post-Recommend process.
Should I include a logline?
While it's not required, we do prefer a logline to accompany your submission, either placed on the cover page, or in the email where you attach the script.
Can writers outside the US submit?
Yes. Writers outside the US are welcome to submit their work. However, we only accept works in English.
Contact our coordinator with any other questions.
