Script Pipeline Contest Winner Tripper Clancy on the Rise

In 2014, alum Tripper Clancy sold projects to 20th Century Fox (The Ambassadors), QED International (Winter Break) and will write the animated comedy Shedd for Paramount, as well as the adventure/comedy Stranded for Sony Pictures.

In February 2015, Tripper added another major project to his roster when Hasbro hired him to write the screenplay Hacker Camp, based on an idea from Hasbro’s CEO.

Winner of the 2011 Script Pipeline Screenwriting Competition, Tripper found management with Script Pipeline industry partner Jake Wagner (Benderspink) only a few weeks after winning the contest.

From Tripper: “I can’t express the impact Script Pipeline has had on my writing career. Winning the contest directly led to new representation, which in turn led to working with studios such as 20th Century Fox.”
