The 23rd Annual Screenwriting Contest develops talented writers and connects them with producers, agencies, and managers who can help launch their career.
If you uploaded your material: your submission is confirmed and complete.
If you did not upload your material: deliver your material entry@scriptpipeline.com when you’re ready.
All entrants may update their draft any time before the May 31st, 2025 deadline at no additional fee by emailing the script direct to entry@scriptpipeline.com. We'll read the most updated version sent for final review.
For those who added written feedback, keep in mind the development executive reviewing the script for notes is different than the exec reviewing the script for the contest, and the notes have no bearing on judging. Notes are emailed to the writer ASAP, but please allow for 4-8 weeks depending on volume. If you still wanted to add the reduced-rate notes, email us to request.
Quarterfinalists are announced on July 10th, Semifinalists on July 20th, and finalists by August 1st, 2025. Writers are sent a notification email after the Quarterfinalist announcement, but please check the site for results in case you miss that update (*unsubscribing from Script Pipeline's mailings means you'll no longer receive any notifications).
Details on awards, criteria, guidelines, and other FAQs can be found on the contest page.
