Chris Boyland is a Los Angeles–based screenwriter and film marketing producer whose work explores how the pursuit of the American dream curdles into obsession, absurdity, and self-destruction. His scripts blend comedy and tragedy with an emphasis on deeply researched, character-driven true stories.

His feature screenplay O.J., a darkly comic account of O.J. Simpson's 2007 Las Vegas memorabilia robbery, was developed through extensive primary-source interviews and archival materials connected to the case. The script was named a Script Pipeline Semifinalist, an Austin Film Festival Second Rounder, and Page Awards Quarterfinalist.

Alongside his writing, Chris has spent his career crafting theatrical, television, and digital campaigns for major studio films and series. His work has contributed to award-winning marketing recognized by the Clio and Golden Trailer Awards. Away from the desk, he can usually be found surfing, watching films, or struggling to meditate.
