
Clare Higgins originally hails from Ann Arbor, Michigan, where the terrible cold produces the kindest people you’ll ever meet. Clare writes to find her own bravery, and to better understand why people are the way that we are. Her strengths lie in dialogue, character, and unconventional forged-in-fire relationships. She writes dramas, comedies, mysteries, and tales of complicated women trying to make sense of the world.
Clare has worked on Netflix shows The Witcher, Bridgerton, The Umbrella Academy, and Devil In Ohio. Her scripts have been recognized by Final Draft Big Break, Austin Film Festival, ScreenCraft, Scriptation, BlueCat and more. She spends most of her days convincing her friends to drive to Burbank, where she lives with her boyfriend and their cat, Simon.
