Claudine Yip is a writer born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. She holds a BFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia and an MFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her work tends to highlight children of immigrants finding love in all its forms, often with a touch of the fantastical, and anything that makes her laugh. Her screenplays have been recognized by Script Pipeline, ScreenCraft, Vancouver’s Gender and Equity in Media Festival, and the Vancouver Asian Film Festival. If she’s not busy chuckling to herself at her computer, she’s probably on her favourite social media app Google Maps to plan her next dessert outing.
