
Dan Benamor is a writer who has worked in nearly every narrative medium. Dan is multiple-produced screenwriter in independent film, and a former development executive of independent film. As an executive, Dan shepherded films like FINAL GIRL (with Wes Bentley and Abigail Breslin) and TIFF premiere AMERICAN HEIST (with Adrien Brody and Hayden Christensen) to production. As a screenwriter, highlights of Dan's produced credits include the Netflix Original Docu-Series ROMAN EMPIRE: MASTER OF ROME and ROMAN EMPIRE: THE MAD EMPEROR and the Western STAGECOACH: THE TEXAS JACK STORY, starring country singer Trace Adkins, Kim Coates and Judd Nelson. Dan has also written, directed and produced multiple #1 fiction podcasts, and worked with star talent in scripted podcasts like Jack Quaid and Tony Shalhoub. More recently, Dan has set up multiple cinematic short stories for film/TV adaptation, including THE KILLING TIME with Amblin, PARIAH'S WARDEN with Divide Pictures, and THE FERRYMAN with Persons Attempting.
