James Perry and John Perry are television producers based in Los Angeles. Together, they've spent over two decades working as producer/director and editor/colorist on multiple Emmy-nominated promo campaigns. While honing their production and post-production skills producing over 4000 hours of television, they both worked on screenplays, separately. When the pandemic hit, the brothers decided to write together - virtually. With projects ranging from sports thrillers to sci-fi dramas to cozy mysteries (with an experimental microdrama thrown in for good measure), they've mined their family's lore and war stories - both literal and euphemistic - to use as the basis for their screenplays. What began as a love of storytelling while building LEGO sets as children has transformed into a new-found passion: crafting heightened stories that move readers and viewers. They are excited by the narrative possibilities in limited-series streaming projects, where the crux isn't about an infinite story engine - rather a contained timeline that allows for definitive character arcs and true resolutions. Just like in real life.
