Meagan Noel Fulps is a former professional basketball player turned writer/director from Denver, Colorado, now based in Los Angeles. She’s drawn to character-driven stories that subvert gender norms, explore identity, and challenge traditional family dynamics. She often champions female athletes and the high-pressure ecosystems surrounding them. Most recently, she worked alongside an A-List actor and previously supported and shadowed several writer/directors, including Seth Gordon and Daisy von Scherler Mayer.

Meagan recently received the Tony Cox Feature Screenwriting Award at the 2026 Nantucket Film Festival for her feature script, “Fight Like a Mother”. She was also selected as a writer fellow with Women in Film and as a top-5 participant in the 2025 Tribeca x AT&T Untold Stories pitch event, both for the same project. Additionally, she was a finalist for prestigious filmmaker programs including: The Black List Projects Lab (2025), AFI DWW+ (2025), Moonlight Feature Accelerator (2025) and SeriesFest x Shondaland Women's Directing Program (2023). She won Best Director at the ImagineThis Women’s Film Festival in 2023 and was a Finalist in Imagine Entertainment’s From Minutes to Movies Competition (2024) for her short film, "Fight Like a Mother".
