Sheriden N. Jackson is a Black woman Screenwriter from Minnesota (currently in LA) who writes for those who have a voice, but have not been given the chance to speak, or rather who have not been listened to. She graduated from Loyola Marymount’s School of Film and Television with a B.A. in Screenwriting, Magna Cum Laude, is an alum of the Roadmap Writers’ Career Writer Program by winning their Diversity Initiative, a #Startwith8Hollywood mentee, Austin Film Festival Second Rounder, a recent Script Pipeline First Look Project horror runner-up, and more.
Her work emphasizes that Black people, POC, and women do not live one monolithic story. Therefore, Sheriden’s characters can survive and lead a dystopian society, be Femme Fatales, and even fall in love while filling out their jeans. You can find her lost in the genre world conceiving fantasy and horror features or at Activision Blizzard championing DEI in the gaming industry.
